It is really very well constructed and where my old one had a single elastic band at the bottom that eventually gave out and didn't hold the pad in position well, I especially like the design on this. The mattress thickness range this pad accepts is just unparalleled and it "grips" the complete width down.
It's not a high profile item for things that get attention and hidden, in practicality all the time, however a well made one is a thing of beauty. This one is really nice.
